Our Leadership

Our Founder

Phillipa Williams

Devoted Mother and Leader.

Looking for an outlet to develop the life and leadership skills of women, Founder Phillipa Williams launched the blog, ilooklikeLOVE.com on Labor Day 2015. In the months following, the vision transitioned to direct engagement with the community through what she believes to be one of the most powerful vehicles for empowerment and change – motherhood. ilooklikeLOVE, Inc. was officially founded and received 501 (c) (3) status in December 2015.

Phillipa’s experience is extensive in operations and faith-based leadership. Armed with over 30 years’ experience in service to the community as a leader, trainer, strategist, mentor, and teacher, she transitioned in 2015 with the birth of ilooklikeLOVE.  Because of her work and commitment to  the underserved, Phillipa was awarded the Quest for Success Award by the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce in 2020, and appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Nonprofit Council in October 2021.

Phillipa continues to inspire and equip women to embrace their identity, cultivate their authenticity, and build personal strategies towards personal and financial sustainability.

This is a quote from Phillipa that helps illustrate her passion for the work of ilooklikeLOVE.
