Our story
Since our founding, over 1.3 million diapers have been distributed to families across Dallas, with 98% going to minority households —and we’re not done yet. The needs of Dallas families are still growing, and we’re here to faithfully serve.

ilooklikeLOVE is founded by Phillipa Williams as a blog focused on developing the life and leadership skills of women. Williams transitioned the organization to direct outreach at the end of 2015, focusing on what she believed to be the most powerful vehicle for empowerment and change—motherhood. 501 (c) (3) status was achieved in December 2015.
ilooklikeLOVE establishes the first mobile diaper pantry in North Texas, distributing diapers and other essentials through community-level distributions, emergency assistance, community-wide partnerships, and disaster recovery efforts.
Our first Global Baby Shower was hosted November 2016.
The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the strength and necessity of ilooklikeLOVE with the forming of a Pantry Partnership to ensure sufficient inventory in the South Dallas/Fair Park area as services also expanded across the city.
ilooklikeLOVE launches a special Pantry Partnership for Disaster Recovery Initiative to serve families impacted by Winter Storm Uri. In partnership with organizations ranging from food pantries and domestic violence shelters to Dallas WIC, over 90,000 diapers and 2000+ packages of wipes were distributed in six weeks.
ilooklikeLOVE partners with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Dollars for College program to provide mothers graduating from EmpowerU with a 529K College Savings Plan and seed funding for their child’s education.
ilooklikeLOVE reached the 1,000,000 diapers distributed milestone Spring 2023.
